About

Andy Arterburn is a multi-media sculptor and painter based in Olympia, Washington. Arterburn graduated from The Evergreen State College in 2026 with a Bachelors of Arts. Working within the sculptural mediums of ceramics and lost wax casting, Arterburn creates biomorphic pieces inspired by the intersections between human anatomy and organic structures, which seeks connection by experimenting with interactivity. In their fine metals practice, the queer body is represented through the lens of ballet storytelling and history, using vitreous enameling on copper to illustrate mystical, hybrid, and beyond binary dancers.
